Donations of $ 6585 will secure the cost of buying innovation kitbags for 500 young students who participate in "Children Innovation Course" delivered in Uganda primary schools by Innovate Africa Foundation. 80% of the course activities is practice, where each student is expected to have an innovation kitbag containing technical tools used for making innovated items.
Innovate Africa Foundation is teaching innovation course to 1423 students in partnered schools in Kampala. Parents are responsible of buying innovation kitbags for their children. Though many have managed to do so, there are others who failed due to financial constrains in their families. Cases like one parent having more than 3 children were among justifications. Thus, 500 students without innovation kitbags, are expected to benefit from this project.
Innovate Africa Foundation has already counted children who do not have innovation kitbags. Once the project sponsored, we shall distribute to them as accounted for.
The project will offer these young students who do not have innovation kitbags during course practice a safe but at the same time a genuine environment for testing themselves as innovators and realizing if this is what they really want to become , and if they have what it takes, with all the possible destinations in their future.
