HALO teaches homeless and at-risk youth the everyday skills other people learn from their families. At the Learning Center in Uganda, HALO youth are learning the skills to work in fashion and cosmetology.
The Fashion and Design department recently got 3 new sewing machine sets. With these new sets, they created these beautiful outfits that they felt so confident in. They are ready for the runway! We can't wait to see what other fabulous outfits the fashion students make with these new machines!
The Salon department in the Learning Center also showed their skills for their mid-term exams using the new driers. We are so proud of the students who worked hard on their exams this year!
Thank you for your support for our HALO Youth in Uganda in their journey in fashion and cosmetology by donating to our International Programs. Your support continues to build programs for HALO Youth to find what they are passionate in and where they feel successful! Thank you.
