SAGE is proud to annouce that through support from our generous donors we have been able to provide two promising young Guyanese with scholarships to University of Guyana starting this school year. Both Dylon King, from the Northwest Region and studying International Relations, and Louise MacCloud from Linden, and studying biololgy to become an orthopediologist, are off to a great start as freshmen at UG.
We were also able hold an orientation this summer where our new scholars met with our current scholars and UG staff for an introduction to life in at the university, including study tips and available resources. We hope that this orientation is the begining of even more services for our scholars. And thanks to your continued support we know it will become a reality!
