Sports and education is the trademark for the youth in these times. Introducing a round ball brings many of these young ones which then give rise to the opportunity to include education to their training.
We returned to the Northern and Upper West regions of Ghana to check on these young lads that we have incorporated into our soccer program, working closely with a sports evangelism group to also institute life skills.
The trip was a huge success as we saw a growth in the number of youth who we left with selected mentors.
In Cape Coast, most of those we started with are currently been able to secure clubs to play with. We are excited that our motivation and training has enabled them to be scouted for these clubs. We plan to follow and bring you updates once their league season starts.
Our next trip to the North is schedule for May.
