Hello
This is just a quick message to update you on the work being done by ZET and our partners in Zimbabwe.
In Bulawayo, Trinity Project Trust are continuing to work tirelessly to ensure that children can access the legal documents they need to prosper. Between March and April of this year, Trinity have conducted 10 legal advice clinics and door-to-door community follow-ups, attending to 293 children without birth certificates in the process. Of these cases, 62 have successfully obtained legal documentation, with 231 cases still in progress.
During this period, Trinity have helped 5 orphans to recover assets that belonged to their late parents and are currently in the process of assisting 2 more. They have also assisted in the registration of 8 deceased estates which will benefit at least 10 orphans.
Here in the UK, ZET are working hard to guarantee that we can provide Trinity with reliable funding for years to come. If you have any fundraising ideas or would like to get involved further in ZET’s work, we would love to hear from you!
Thank you again for your support.
