Girls learning important life lessons
Dear Donors and Friends,
How are you today? We hope this report finds you and your loved-ones well.
We're very happy to inform you of the date for our educational camp for 60 girls in Archers Post, Samburu County. The dates are December 7-11, 2014. Girls are currently being invited and they're extremely excited to know they'll attend workshops that will not only educate them, but empower them. And, imagine 60 girls under one roof...oh what fun they'll have making new friends, having dialogues, eating and drinking tea together while talking about their dreams of a bright future, and then celebrating their camp experience at the graduation ceremony!!
We'd also like to inform you that a WASH (Water, Sanitation & Hygiene) certified doctor will teach the Health & Sanitation workshop. He will teach preventive measures against Ebola. As the Ebola epidemic spreads we plan to have prevention measures in place, just in case! Ebola is no joke and we care very deeply about the health and welfare of our girls, their families and communities.
Again, thanks so much from the bottom of our hearts for your kind contribution to this very important project. We'd really appreciate it if you would share this campaign with your family and friends via the social media links on our campaign page...Facebook, Twitter, etc.
Thanks for taking the time to read this update!
Peace and Blessings,
The Pastoralist Child Foundation Team
