This Project will enroll 150 girls at risk or victims of child labour and child marriage into formal school and provide access and opportunity for computer education, personal development and skill enhancement for the girls to achieve their potentials.
Empowerment of girls and women, and achieving gender equality are expedient to creating a good future for our communities, country and the global world as a whole. However, there is high rate of Gender inequalities in our country today! The tradition that makes girls bride, the denial that the girl child requires empowerment of educational development makes them out-of school and they end up as domestic servitude.
CYPF seeks to reduce Gender inequality by educational and livelihood empowerment to the girl child and their mothers or care givers. CYPF will provide the young girls with school enrollment, mentoring and counselling to build their self esteem and value system in other to ensure sustainability of the interventions to be received. CYPF will also provide computer literacy program to the girls.
The 150 girls empowered to reduce thier vulnerability rate and ensure full development to their benefit and that of their community and generations behind them.
