As HIV/AIDS continues to kill the most productive family members. Many families are left with no source of income. Orphan headed households with no incomes. NIRP gifts are like "family living savings accounts" and the livestock will provide proteins,income from sale of offspring,manure that increases crop produce. Beneficiaries:Orphans and other needy children and their families The project will train,give livestock to orphans and their families to promote self reliance among them.
Many needy children and their families lack self reliance. These live struggling lives and grow without hope and cannot achieve their full God given potential. One animal gift could serve as a living saving account for the family. We use your gifts where they can do the most good by pooling them with the gifts of others to help transform entire communities. 100 families and entire community will benefit from the project.
The project will provide training,animal gifts,animal feeds and vet services to 100 needy families. Through this initiative families will be able to become self reliant and grow out of poverty. This will help families meet basic needs for their children and families. More still these gifts will help families improve nutrition,crop yields and incomes in the family from the sale of offspring and other animal products.
The project will enable 100 households be trained and give 100 livestock packages worth $40 to the beneficiary families. In the long term families will give the first offspring to next household that may not have receive animal gift nevertheless multiplying the impacts of the project. More community members will learn from the first 100 project beneficiaries to help themselves out of poverty. Directly 100 needy children and their families will benefit from the project.
