Greenlight for Girls is an international organization that encourages girls of all ages, background and cultures to pursue science studies and empowers them to reach their dreams. 8 exceptionally bright girls, all first-generation school goers are ready to go to college to compete equally and globally. Help these 8 girls by providing funding their scholarship.

17 year old Ramya lives in a single-roomed house along with her parents, a younger sister and two younger brothers. Her father, a mechanic tries to provide for his family with an average monthly income of about $60. Beating all odds with the help of our official partners in India Parikrma and Nele, Ramya and 7 other girls have successfully made it to high school. Greenlight for Girls believes that their future is full of possibilities. Help fund college scholarships for these 8 girls in India.

India is developing at a rapid rate where the rich are getting richer and the poor just remain poor. This scholarship provides the funding needed for tuition and living expenses for 8 girls for a 3 year undergraduate program . Armed with a college education, our 8 girls would have equal access to the best opportunities life has to offer. A first-generation college goer, she would take charge of her life!

Long-Term Impact

After 3 years of college, these 8 girls would in turn become 'change agents' and make a difference as future mothers and leaders thereby touching and influencing many more lives. It's the "Chain of Change" and you can be a part of it too! This chain would not just stop with 8 girls. These 8 girls would have the opportunity to influence many more lives.
