Although the Bolivian government has lifted the quarantine, restrictions on the use of face masks and social distancing and others like PPE’S suits usage remain.
Our services are returning to a volume of care more similar to that of before the pandemic. Our appointments more spaced than normal, which allows us to disinfect between patients. Although it is easier to just wait, we cannot afford that luxury, we coordinate and schedule the patients' appointments prioritizing emergency treatments, new patients and patients in pain.
We also want to share with you our most important event of 2020, our 20th anniversary. 20 stories for 20 years is a way of telling our story through time and through the members of our organization, high lightening their experiences as related to Smiles Forever. Please help us continue providing preventative and restorative care to over 50,000 children and adults in 47 shelters and non profits. The lives of our students now hygienists and dentists as well as our patients have been changed forever.
