The Tolerar y Convivir Foundation works with women victims and displaced by violence. Most of them arrived in Bogota, without taking into account any ability to work, because they were dedicated to housework. The foundation gives a boost to these women who have an income, through the productive projects, which allow them to support their families, with the sale of the crafts they produce. In order that they have a decent life and restore a little how much they lost
The biggest challenge facing these women is that they were forcibly expelled from the countryside, arriving in the city with serious problems of nutrition, health, social and psychological and have a sudden confrontation with the city. Our Foundation gives them the opportunity to be linked to working life, very quickly, to be trained in the arts and crafts (painting paintings, making necklaces and jewelry ...) This undoubtedly allows them to have one more opportunity and to restore the rights
Our project consists of acquiring more inputs or raw materials that allow us to manufacture or create products for the subsequent sale, earn the profits in equal parts and keep the base money, to continue undertaking, and achieve that women achieve a little economic independence for They simply keep and feed their families.
There are many positive effects, instead of first ones, to treat as a society to give back a little or to contribute in the social restoration of the Colombians. Together we are creating and building a social fabric and building a united and peaceful country. With this project we want to benefit from the amount of resources reached to more than 100 direct and indirect women who form their families 300 more people
