This program aims to support the health of children from underprivileged families in slums areas and small villages in Indonesia who have difficulty reaching clinics or hospitals so that they can have regular health checks, such as dental health, growth and eye health. During the medical checkup, the children will also be accompanied by their parents so that the parents know the child's health condition and when there is medical action, they can immediately sign an agreement.
Health awareness in children in Indonesia is still low, this is related to the economic and educational levels of the community which are still below the average. There are several factors that contribute to this lack of awareness, including the high cost of health check-ups, lack of availability of health facilities such as hospitals/clinics, and long distances from health facilities.
Free medical check-ups for underprivileged children is one of the efforts to increase their health awareness. All medical check-up costs, and accommodation to the health facility will be funded by your donation. Health checks will be routinely provided twice a year which includes oral health checks and growth and development health checks.
With the Free Medical Check-up program for underprivileged children, the quality of health will improve. As well as being able to detect early if there is a child's health problem so that it can be handled immediately. They can also experience good health facilities and be treated by competent doctors.
