Challenge

Increase in death rate in Nigeria from Cardiac Arrest

Solution

The project will help empower at least 1000 people in Heartsaver CPR training and also screen 400 who can not readily have access to hospital to get Cardiac screening and free consultation with our Cardiologists.

Long-Term Impact

Amongst this 1000 that will be trained, trainers will be selected among them to replicate same in all 36 states in Nigeria and a drastic reduction in death rate in Nigeria will be achieved. This will have a positive economic impact. According to WHO about $3.6 billion is lost annually on Non-communicable diseases in Africa. This has a great impact on the economy.
