If your pet needed veterinary care to save their life, what would you do? This project will help Frankie's Friends provide life-saving and life-enhancing emergency and/or specialty veterinary care for pets whose families cannot afford the full cost of treatment. You can help save the life of a pet in need and keep them with the family that loves them.
If your dog gets hit by a car needing emergency surgery, or your cat gets diagnosed with cancer and needs thousands of dollars in medical care to save it's life, what would you do? The costs of treating critical emergencies and providing specialty services are beyond the means of many loving families, who end up making unthinkable decisions due to financial restraints. Pet owners often face the choice between household financial responsibilities and the care of their pet. Help us, help them.
Frankie's Friends helps to save pets' lives by providing grants to assist with the cost of life-saving or life-enhancing emergency or specialty care for pets whose families cannot afford the full cost of treatment. Qualifying families demonstrate substantial financial need and whose pets, with treatment, have a good prognosis for return to a good quality of life.
Frankie's Friends funds research grants to further the breadth of knowledge in the field of specialty and emergency veterinary medicine. In addition, we promote: better treatment of life-threatening conditions; better access to, and understanding of, advanced medical care for pets; and better support for pet-owning families.
