After the holidays, things return to normal at Burbank Temporary Aid Center . . . almost.
People are still coming to us for food and assistance. Volunteers still make time in thier schedules to help stock shelves. Staff work with clients to provide services. But one thing is missing. No one is doing a food drive!
Once the holidays are over, the number of food drives drop off dramatically. But the need is still there. Often, we have to cut back the amount of food we give families, because we are afraid of running out. But not this year! Thanks to your help, BTAC has been able to provide food, even adding some fresh fruits and vegetables along the way.
We appreciate your support of the poor in our community. Each day, we hear thier thanks for the assistance they receive. But we know the thanks goes to our donors like you, who provides the resources necessary to continue this work.
Thank you,
