Mercy without Limits for Albania, through the Community Service Center, aims to provide healthy food and warm showers for 250 people from the poorest section of society in Korca, also providing free laundry service and clean clothes for this people.
300 families in Korce District, are not eligible to the social assistance system. They have no education and it is difficult for this families to find a work. 90 of this families live in the conditions under the minimum, close to the garbage collector, without electricity, water and sanitation. 250 people including children and elderly people. Due to this conditions of living there is a problem for children to attend school and all this families have poor axes to health care and hygiene.
We will offer social services to this 250 people such as healthy food (one meal per day/5 days a week), warm showers, laundry service and clean clothes for the whole family, health care and counseling for children and mothers. We will train parents and help theme start a small business, sewing,hairdressing, pluming and other profession . Through "after school care" we will help 50 children to achieve better results in school . We will teach theme life skills and give theme spiritual care.
The project will help 250 people to not suffer of hunger and poor hygiene. we will educate 180 parents(man and women) to step out of their poverty, making steps towards development and providing health and well-being for their families. Educated parents will rise up educated children and help theme to become better citizens and will continue to bring more efforts to the benefit of their family, community and to the economy as well.
