For the first time in Pakistan, AI is being integrated into education for primary and secondary differently-abled students. Muwakhat Foundation and PSRD are working together to eliminate learning barriers, enhance educational opportunities, and provide digital skills for income generation, enabling students to learn and earn confidently.
The Pakistan Society for Rehabilitation of Differently Abled (PSRD) was established in 1957 and Located in Lahore, PSRD currently operates a fully free high school that serves 270 differently-abled students, offering education tailored to their needs and supporting their development. PSRD students face difficulties in understanding lessons, preparing for exams, exploring outside curriculum activities, and overcoming physical challenges that limit classroom participation.
Muwakhat Foundation is collaborating with PSRD School to launch Artificial Intelligence (AI) education for primary and secondary differently-abled students. Purpose: Ensure every differently-abled child receives quality education Shift from rote learning to critical thinking and problem-solving Improve students' academic performance Familiarize differently-abled students with modern educational methods used worldwide Empower students with skills for future success
Differently-abled students will benefit from personalized, modern learning tools that help them understand better, build confidence, and develop skills for a successful future.
