We remain super, super busy!!! Earlier this month, we had our annual gathering with our partners, donors and friends in thanksgiving for all the blessings of year 2013.In partnership with the Operation Smile we held our three day cleft lip/ cleft palate mini surgical mission with a target of 40 patients. This is our Second mission for the year.Last December 1, the first baby was delivered at JADMC. We have more than 40 pre natal patients scheduled to deliver in the next 3 months. This is part of our expansion into a maternity center for non-complicated births, providing a safe and healthy environment for mother and child prenatally and in the post partum period. We hope to make an impact in reducing the maternal and fetal mortality in the Philippines, which is one of the highest in the world. Our regular programs, prosthetics, family wellness, dental health, are ongoing. This includes the livelihood program where we teach patients basic farming skills so they can be self sufficient.Thank you for your ongoing belief and support in helping one of the poorest regions of the world.
