Cholera outbreak has hit hard the area and 23 villages with 11, 234 population have been affected. There is a possibility that other surrounding will be affected in the near future if nothing is not done fast. The cholera has already claimed 3 deaths (1 male child and 2 adults).
At least 22,000 households have been affected with cholera outbreak in rural areas of Zomba-Malawi. Cholera has already claimed 3 deaths since the start of the rainy season. Children are mostly hit by cholera which makes them not attending school.
The project will sensitize the community members on good hygiene and sanitation practices and distribute chroline at drinking points through water point volunteers.
The project will serve lives of 22,000 people in Zomba rural who are in cholera outbreak declared area. Improved living standard of community members Healthy lives of community members will be enhanced that will further developmental initiates in the area
