Challenge

This Project is very important because this will be the first of its kind in the whole of West Africa (Sixteen Countries). To provide an Emergency Grant for sexually abused children, raped victims, victims of domestic violence, victims of female genital mutilations, human rights defenders whose lives are on the line, journalist and news bloggers at risk, people who face false arrest an torture because of their political affiliations and young girls forced into marriages.

Solution

Our Campaign Project will solve this problem because we have already been working on such cases for years since 2013. We will team up with the security agencies, traditional leaders in communities, opinion leaders, women groups and other International CSOS to quickly inform us about cases of victims in their localities who need help. We will also do a lot of publicity to give out our emergency response telephone numbers to an established call center. We will design an online forms and an App.

Long-Term Impact

The long term impact of this Project will be to drastically reduce countless cases of Human Rights Abuse. Vulnerable victims will at least know that there is an Organization that can help them with their immediate medical bills, cost of legal representation and a safe shelter home to run to. Whiles police detectives continue their investigations and arrest the suspects to be sent to court. Political members of any opposition party from West Africa can come to Us for help. This will bring Peace.
