This project has helped countless families who were affected by COVID and many others. Families are still having a hard time putting food on the table. In the middle of winter, this mother of 4 found herself homeless due to a house fire. She was feeling overhelmed, we were able to get her family out of the cold and into a hotel, we also brought groceries and clothing for this family of five. In the morning, our case managers made contact with the family and started assisting this mother's new life. We were able to assist with her utilies for her new appartment. Because of the donations from GlobalGiving, we are able to assist families with their immediate needs. Without GlobalGiving we wouldn't be able to assist many other families in similer situations.
