Feeding Native Peruvian Children

I thank you for continuing to provide health and hope for these poor children!  We often don’t think about how important good food and nutrition to our overall health, especially if we are not used to going without.  But as a nurse I can tell you that proper nutrition is vital to proper growth for children, it is what powers our immune system, and it is how our bodies heal after injury and illness.  These hot meals, when they normally wouldn’t have them are literally life changing.  It can impact their bodies and their futures for the rest of their lives.  Your generosity is making a real difference for 2 children for every dollar sacrificed.

Your generosity has fed these children over 700 meals in the last few months.  They are being cared for and shown the love of another who they have never met by your giving.  We are so grateful for your blessing and loving them!  These poor children are wonderful people, and it brings me great joy to see them taken care of and heading towards more health and a strong future!  You have increased their hope as they see that they are less likely to have to go most afternoons without having a hot meal.  They can now look forward to these warm and healthy meals in addition to all their parents do to provide for them as best as they can in an impoverished community with few opportunities.  We also continue to look for ways to allow them to better provide for themselves and their families, but we cannot get there without programs like this to carry them through the hard times.  You are appreciated!
