This project will feed 1000 kids in Southern Madagascar, who are victim of drought through school canteen in preschool and primary school, also to support children to continue their study.
For the past three years, there has been no rain in southern part of Madagascar, and food crops have become scarce. Families had already depleted their food supplies and gone through vital seed stocks. Almost of kids in this area do not go to school due to famine and their parents pushed them to earn money to support the family. The crisis is hitting children hardest, who are not getting the necessary nutrients to develop properly.
The project provides a daily meal at school to kids in the area hit by famine and drought. The children's parents are trained in nutrition.
The project will feed 1000 kids to victim of famine, and support them to continue their study to rise them out of poverty.
