To provide daily meals for the starving 175 Children and 51 adults. To ensure that no child goes to sleep hungry. To run a Community Safety 24-hour service Program and employ 20 Security Guards to patrol areas where women and girls were raped, robbed and injured and prevent crime, protecting routes used by 6 communities. To build two houses for 2 families with 2 senior citizens with no shelters.
Community has a challenge of high level of unemployment, poverty and hunger; children are hooked in drugs. Crime is prevalent since the drug addicts want money for drugs. Routes from the neighbouring communities has hide out places for thugs. People are often robbed, women are vulnerable and targets. Government made empty promises. Government RDP program for housing died long ago. Many empty promises for Informal settlements, in the 2 past elections brought only disappointment.
Our feeding program addresses the hunger. The Community Safety Program will provide 20 Jobs thus contribute to reduction of unemployment. The After Care Program attached to the feeding program indirectly fights drugs by engaging children in worthwhile activities. The two houses we intend to build for the families (Ms Ntsomboyi and Ms. Dubha) provide shelter will make a difference to the families
Hunger (by Feeding Program) and unemployment (By Community Safety Program) shall be reduced. Crime shall be reduced by engaging youth to fruitful activities Two families long being without descent shelter shall regain their pride.
