Project #9151

Expand Youth Baseball and Softball in Uganda

by Pitch In For Baseball
Feb 7, 2013

The long journey is over

After a few months at sea, the container of equipment Pitch In For Baseball donated to Uganda Little League has arrived.  The gear and uniforms should clear customs within a few days and we should be able to share some great pictures in the near future. This donation which contains 20 pallets of bats, batting helmets, baseballs, softballs, uniform sets, uniform pants, cleats, gloves and catcher's gear is our largest donation to date.

The growth of youth baseball and softball in Uganda is a source of great pride for us at Pitch In For Baseball.  The kids there have a genuine passion for the game which is unrivaled by most players.

Thanks again for all of your support.  This donation couldn't have happened without your generosity!
