Our aims is to protect children from abuse and chld labour and provide quality education to them, but this can not be achieved without out empowering their caregivers. Our goals is to Increase in literacy levels among chldren and young adults withn Yusufari Locality. Reduce the high level of poverty, chid labour, child abuse cases, illiteracy and improve the living standards/conditions of most Vulnerable Children and their caregivers wthinn the target community.
We will focus on improving the lives of orphans, street children women and providing resources for the families affected by the confl ict and fl ood, especially to improve their livelihoods and protect the life of the children. Yusufari is one of the Local Government that has Child protection concern than any other Local Government in Yobe State, and their land is not fertile enough, because their farms are not effective in farming systems, and also their animals are died as a result of drought.
1000 chidren aged between 3-16 years enrolled into primary schools, where atleast 60% wil be young girls. 120 chidren between the age of 16 and 20 years, enrolled in vocational training schools, to ensure acquisition of sklls that can be applied to the field of work to generate income. 520 households in Yusufari region introduced to established income generating activities especialy the women to be able to provide adequate care for their school-going chidren. Tent construction to flood vitms.
