The project will develop women from out caste communities in India to establish small business and grow as small scale entrepreneurs to access their Economical, social and Gender Equality.
Women in the area is vulnerable to violence, discrimination due to strong existence of patriarchal tradition , poor knowledge & lack of confidence of women have hindered them from seeking their right to live & earn their livelihood. The project will Economically empower women & better enable to tackle domestic violence & lead others out of this traumatic problem. Economically independent women will fight back against violence & contribute in reducing violence against step towards equality.
Women would be identified who would be interested in establishing themselves as entrepreneurs. A base line survey and feasibility report will be prepared regarding the proposed bussiness proposals. The beneficiaries will be provided with seed capital to start bussiness. They will be empowered with Skills like bussiness management and marketing through training workshops. Along with the business strategies they will be also aware about their rights as human and stop violence against them.
Women once become economical independent she will feel confident about herself and reduce her dependency life that would enable her to take her own decision. Access to business opportunity will not only give her economic independence but increase her status in family & society. She will raise her voice against any kind of gender discrimination and help other women who may face violence. These entrepreneurs women's group will be inspiration for other women to establish her own identity & stop
