Conditioning and construction of recreational spaces for 800 children in the communities of San Juan la Curena, Las Tazas and San Juan Romulo Calzada, in Ocosingo, Chiapas.
The socio-economic conditions of this region make it impossible, among many other things, for children and young people to study and have the right to recreation, which leads to school dropouts and an increase in child labor. The teacher Rosario says that "there is a lack of awareness on the part of the parents, we need to motivate the students so that they find school more interesting". With the pandemic, many of his students feel unmotivated to continue their studies.
Implement and recover spaces in 3 communities of the Lacandon Jungle, using mainly tires, wood and other solid waste. Public recreational spaces are very few in these localities so creating them is a healthy way to motivate them to continue studying and playing sports as a family. In all the stages of the life of the human being the game is a necessary activity that allows us to develop in a better way in the social sphere.
The project will benefit 800 children and youth of the Lacandon Jungle, contributing to their education and healthy recreation, strengthening relationships of trust in family and friends. The proposal also promotes an ecological and sustainable model since it sensitizes 300 families of the communities of the use that can be given to the waste that we generate, recycling and new forms of utility of urban materials.
