Project Report | Jul 16, 2014
List of poor mothers who were helped Jan-May 2014

By Jerome Kabakyenga | Project Leader

Thanks to all who have supported us through Global Giving.

During the period January-May 2014 a total of eight mothers were supported to have safe child births. Four mothers had normal deliveries while 3 had Caesarian deliveries and one mother had incomplete abortion evacuated. The seven mothers travelled back home with healthy newborns in a country where the maternal and perinatal mortality rates are some of the highest in the whole world. The mother who had incomplete abortion was saved from complications which usually afflict women if no help is given in time. Women who had normal deliveries were discharged after one day while those who had caesarian deliveries were admitted for 3-4 days.

Thanks to Global Giving.

Details are on the attached report.
