Under Jessore Municipality, there are 37 slums are thatched and small, accommodating 6-9 people in one room without access of basic services such as education,health care, environment and while working identified that 1200 helpless slum children of age 5-14 in Jessore municipality who don't have access to education . The organization wants to establish and create improved environment for these identified helpless children through basic education, among the parents & slum community.
DHARA will provide Non formal Education (300 children)to established by 10 NFE center. Not only that one Dr. providing primary health check-up and medicine support for 300 children monthly one time. To give primary health education,hygiene practices, nutrition for their family members and to improve their health and create aware on child rights through organizing workshop/ seminar with community, parents, social elites, and set up wide network among the all stakeholders of the society.
The project will educate 300 slum children and also received primary health support including medicine for 300 children, their families will get aware about health care, nutrition and hygiene practices which help them to enjoy better health and well being. Wide net work will be established through awareness buildup activities.
