Michigan ranks #11 (608,271) in total Veterans Population (Sources: Population, VA Office of Data Governance and Analytics, US Census Bureau County, FY 2016). Although the State is doing its best, the number keeps increasing. This project will benefit the communities in Michigan with over 5,000 beneficiaries progressively.
This Project will provide Section 8 housing, food and meal packages, social, interpersonal skills through training and development as well as job creations (event coordinators, paid volunteerism, fund raisers and also train these people to be Change Agents for sustainable development goals.
Through HIRED Project, We will give a voice and a call to action to the homeless by creating a movement to address the veteran homelessness and other social issues allowing continuous and sustaining implementation of projects. And it is heartwarming that most of our volunteers are veterans who see the projects as the future solution to complement State policies for sustainable development and improved livelihood.
