We aim at providing a more sustainable development project that will be monitored and evaluated effectively. We believe one of the ways to end hunger is to teach farmers ways to farm better, preserve better and sell better; therefore emphasis will be laid on training and equipping of farmers. Hence, the outreach will feature the following activities: Training of farmers in crop production, preservation and storage of grains. Small business grants for women (#10,000).
Despite the hardship in the country, Nigeria's food waste has hit $750 billion yearly. This was revealed by the Sales Manager, North West & Central Africa Refrigeration and Air Conditioning, Danfoss, Youssef Zitouni in 2016. The reason for this is attributed to lack of good facilities and technical know-how of farmers. The Ilorin East LGA, Gambe community is closely knit network of farmers who use the produce to survive and educate their offspring. A rise in food spoilage is a drop in profit
We believe the EHP 4 will teach farmers ways to farm better, preserve better and sell better. The young ladies will learn to produce and sell liquid soaps. The little children who cannot afford to be in school will be sent to school as their school fees are not usually expensive
More food Less poverty More economic empowerment More educated children
