BACK TO SCHOOL
School has begun. Our children are soaring into the new school year after a summer full of camp adventures and enriching activities. Our Higher Education for All program focuses on keeping each child within our families engaged in the pursuit of higher education and other positive activities. Our Education Specialists partner with the parents to find the best possible educational settings for each individual child and advocate for specialized services when needed.
Our children are in a variety of settings-private schools, high performing public schools, high performing public charter schools, and colleges. Our specialists follow up with classroom observations and teacher conferences to be certain that each child is getting the quality education that they deserve.
In addition, the Mike Young Education Scholarship Fund allows parents to pursue the education and vocational training they need to support their families earn a living wage, and enhance individual potential. We currently have parents working toward degrees in teaching and child development , nursing , other medical related fields, and divinity programs.
Volunteers get involved with our families by mentoring a child or becoming an academic tutor for children and adult students.
We believe that educational success is possible for all of our families.We are very excited about this new school year and know that we are preparing our students for wonderful futures.
