I would like to express my sincere appreciation and gratitude for your continued support and collaboration during this year 2014 of the progress and achievements at HTM.

Over this past year, HTM has not only achieved important milestones, but also grown, and positioned itself to progress even further in 2015 and beyond.

Thank you for the donations we have received in 2014 and volunteers and networks we have established. This has gone a long way t supporting businesses for the teen women in Kenya. After a successful training on entrepreneurship, 7 young women benefited with a seed capital of about $100 each. HTM will continue to mentor each girl and follow up on their progress in the next one year.

As an example of such small set up business through your kind support Habiba has a saloon that is now well stocked .She says now she has more customers unlike before when she did not have enough stock for hairdressing. She aims to work hard and buy more equipment in future so that she can increase her customers.  She says that her child can now go to school comfortably.

HTM continues to get more support from the like minded people who want to see the lives of the young mothers and the children changed.

Next year we set to organize a small micro financing so that many young women can benefit by borrowing with little or interest.

Thank you again for your overwhelming Christmas gifts that included food, clothes and shoes. Our Community benefited with the different gifts.

As more Christmas donations keep coming in, kindly note that this donation will go to the day care centre that already has more than 50 children in the program.

Our day care centre continues to get more children. The day care is now 6 months old with 50 children aged, 6 months to 3 years. The day care benefits the women from the slums and the teenage mums who had to leave their children unattended in order for them to go look for food. The mothers are now able to concentrate on looking for jobs without fear of fires and rape that frequents the slums. The care givers to the children are able to identify children affected by malnutrition and other disease and special attention is given to them.

We wish to thank the Artists who volunteered their time and skills to help us draw some art for children on the walls of the day Care Centre. We continue to ask for more volunteers and resources to make the day care more beautiful and habitable for children 6months to3 years. We need carpets, bedding, mattress, toys, baby chairs and food for children.

Our next main project from January, 2015 will be school construction. The drawings are ready and approved for the construction. Our priority is to sink a borehole during the first quarter of the year.

As we look into the future, we shall continue to build on these important achievements and to draw from the extensive expertise that exists within wider network. We hope that our effort contributes to the global quest to end poverty on the most vulnerable in our community, promote inclusive growth and sustainable development and look forward to collaborating with you in the coming year.

Wishing you a wonderful holiday season and a very successful new year 2015!
