Hope for Teenage mothers is always thankful to its supporters and donors .
42 of the teenage mothers are graduating this year from the tailoring class at the end of December.The girls have been in school for the last 11 months and now they have acquired skills to help them earn an income to help them and their children. HTM will asssist them get placements for jobs and set up small businesses.
Hope for teenage mothers is now partnering with Makinika Society to fight drugs abuse.Some of the teenage mothers have been rehabilitated from taking drugs and are aslo helping other girls to stop drugs abuse.
Some quotes from the teenage mothers;
Hannah says "Now my child and I have hope to live a better life."
Njoki says ''I can now have a life out of this slum now with this skill.As I can now start a small business in the town.'' Martha says ''Hope for teenage mothers has helped us alot...I wish they can buy for us machines for knitting too so that we can start our small business and get orders for our sweaters and sell them in different schools.''
