Mentoring of the young people by the elder ones is the Key to a successful future in today’s world.
There are many challenges facing the youth and young people for example on issues of teenage pregnancy, low self-esteem, and alcohol and drugs abuse. Etc.
Hope for Teenage Mothers organization has partnered with various universities in four counties across the country to support the young vulnerable girls through mentorship programs.The students from various Universities are volunteering on this program to work with the teenage mothers and other vulnerable youth within our program. One of the students said, ”I am excited to be a mentor in this program’’.
The program encourages innovativeness and skills activation of the vulnerable groups so that no one is left behind. This model of mentoring is l support the teenage mothers and the vulnerable youth to becoming self-independent.
