Thank you all our supporters to our project for Hope for Teenage Mothers empowement in Kenya.Everyday we have seen a positive change in our communities due to the support that you are giving to us.
Women from Kenya have learned the skills of independence.Through these skills they are feeding their children and paying school fees for them. This is a trend that has grown in Kenyan communities especially in 3 projects that we are supporting .Women in the urban areas are receiving mentorship from their children and grand children who are in school and being encouraged to take adult learning. One woman said, "I do not want to be left behind".A follow up on her shows that she can now read and write .She is also able to interprete patterns which she translates into weaving bags.
The local market is available for the products made by the women and are looking to expanding them. The materials used to make the handmade products are locally avaiable and most of them are organic .
We encourage all to get involved.
Karibu! (Welcome)
Thank you very much.
