People with disabilities have for long been under looked due to various aspects, some think disabled people are not supposed to get help because of the tendency of associating disabilities with superstition. Some people are severely crippled and lack mobility appliances and scattered in hard to reach rural areas where normal people and their families tend to neglect them.
This organisation was formed to help contribute to a process of restoring hope and improving the quality of life for people in Uganda. The project will provide the opportunity for disabled people and women to be trained and they will have access small loans to launch their own businesses.
The project further attempts to increase access to education for children with disabilities and children of people with disabilities in a sense that when their parents establish businesses they can raise money to send their children to school. The project will further focus on changing peoples' attitudes towards people with disabilities in society, this will help to improve their standards of living.
