Challenge

Unemployment rate in Cameroon is alarmingly at 40% (about 4 million), affecting close to 80% of youth who face huge income challenges within their demographic transitions, making it near impossible to create decent jobs and prosperity for the country, as well as enjoying the social benefits of adulthood. Job scarcity has led to high threat to overall peace, political stability, and disease prevalence. This project will affect high impact 100 startups, creating at-least 1000jobs every year.

Solution

This project is focuses of reducing, violent extremism among youth by increasing the survival chances of 100 start up ventures, empowering female and male aged between 18-35 years to unleash their entrepreneurial potentials, innovate and transform the country. 100 startups will be empowered, to create 1000+ jobs yearly, giving opportunities for employment, wealth creation and delivery of prosperity to youth who feel very frustrated at their situation and are in die need of solutions

Long-Term Impact

In the long term (10 years) we hope to create close to 2500 companies, creating 25,000 decent jobs, affecting close to 2500000 people indirectly. It should have contributed to reducing the rates of unemployment, poverty and reduced hunger. It will improve the chances of peace building, reduce violent extremism, and build a wealth inclusive society.
