In this program, since the beginning of the confinement, we were working remotely with our music workshops, school support and the Latin American Dance Project. Also, our technical team is in permanent communication so we can recognize the needs of each family and assist them in reaching food aid, documentation and other economic subsidies.

Regarding to the Latin American Dance Project, there are being made weekly meetings through our WhatsApp group where the families are part of. Usually, the teacher in charge sends a video explaining the activity and the instructions to follow. In the workshops, we share experiences about songs and dances of the region, stories about traditions, tales with legends, recipes of traditional food and other transmissions that improve the cultural exchange.

Additionally, it is important to mention that the objective of these activities is towards the generation of space for fun and dispersion for the families. Furthermore, we strengthen bonds between them and we also do an exhaustive follow-up for the families under the program.

Finally, we want to thank all our donors for supporting us so we can keep helping despite all the issues that this global context of the pandemic causes. Fortunately, the generosity does not have any limits, so thank you very much!!!

During summer the children who attend our projects do not stop receiving our care. That is why we look for different activities that can be done to go through a season that can be very hard when living in vulnerable neighborhoods, such as summer.
In January, together with the Director of our Childhood Programs, the children attended a sports park with swimming pools to spend a day. It was a really great day we spend playing, learning and having fun in the water!
During the activity, there were more than 30 professionals to ensure that everything goes perfectly. The children spent the whole day there, had lunch and had a snack too. This is possible thanks to the contributions and donations received.
The Community Center is a place of reference for families with the aim of promoting their rights, which is why even on holidays we continue organizing different activities for children living in the area.

Thank you for helping this program to assist hundreds of children throughout the year!

Last saturday (December 7th) our end-of-the-year event took place and it was also thanks to our GlobalGiving donors.
Children prepared a special play for decens of people where they showed the work done during the year at their dancing classes. The event was in the "Soldi Foundation", an exhibitions place close to our center, in the city of Glew (Buenos Aires Province).
This activity was important because we invited to participate also children from one of the educational centers that Mensajeros de la Paz carries, with the goal of integrating our diffferent projects.
This kind of exhibitions are fundamental for the project, because children usually feel very motivated about having a show for which they need to get ready and practice. Also, they fight their fears and they strenghen as individuals and as a group.
This activities are only possible when we have individual donors because we need funds to pay transport, logistics and clothes for the exibitions.. So THANK YOU!

We are proud to share with you the 2018 Annual Report of Mensajeros de la Paz, which reflects the work done over the past year, promoting the social integration of children, adolescents, and elderly people in an extreme social vulnerability condition in Argentina.
Reading this Report you will know more about our Programs and Projects, and their impact on the prevention of exclusion situations, the improvement of educational and artistic spaces, and our every day direct assistance in our Day Centers and Homes.
Also, I would like to thank you for the support that we have received from each donor that trusts us. Our Organization is fully committed to the social integration of those who need it the most, and this would not be possible without the help of so many people, institutions, companies and the community.
Mensajeros de la Paz will be there, where there is a right to promote or restore.
Thank you for being part of our mission, only together will we be able to build a more inclusive Argentina.
