This project equips a computer training center in priority zone of Val de Marne, providing FREE computer training in hardware and software applications to 50 disadvantaged computer illiterate youth and adults. Computer proficiency being indispensable for most job seekers, this would enable them acquire relevant knowledge and skills that would help them get a job, become productive and self-reliant, this would as a result enable them to contribute towards national development.
Disadvantaged youth and adults from the priority zone of Val de Marne department in France, do not have basic training in computer based information systems. Majority of them do not have computers in thier homes, neither do they have the funds to pay for their computer training, being stricken with unemployment and poverty, they are strongly affected by computer illiteracy. Femmes Dignes is committed to address this problem through her FREE computer training and personal development program
With the provision of FREE computer training in hardware and software applications, sessions of group discussions, questions and answers, there would be renforced learning among the beneficiaries, social ties would also be created. Having been empowered with relevant knowledge and skills, they are able to take up job placements, this would as result reduce computer illiteracy, unemployment and poverty, with increased productivity and improved standard of living.
The principal objective of the project is to enable the beneficiaries acquire knowledge and skills in computer based information systems, being an essential element for successful social and Professional intergration in the society. This would offer them the opportunity to become computer literate, develop thier career in information technology systems. Having adequate computer knowledge and skills, they would able to get a job, become productive, able to contribute towards national development.
