Together We Can
By Rose Daniel | Project Officer
Dear Donors,
Thank you for trusting in this vision and believing in our ability to carry on this project . Thank you for your continued support towards this project empowerment of 200 Kebbi local Farmers with business and Technical skills to achieve higher income and a better life for themselves and their families.
It's been a learning curve for us as a team, while we put structures and procedures in place in anticipation of more donation and hence implementation from the baseline launched previously. Further research would be conducted to critically examine the needs of the farming community within Kebbi state. However, the limited resources has placed a restriction on this.
We therefore use this medium to make an appeal to you, to donate towards this cause and share with your network.
We are certain you believe in this goal to see a world where there is no hunger. That's why we are depending on you to spread the word about this good work. We can do this, together we can achieve this. Let's keep alive, and keep pursuing the goal of a sustainable future for our farmers. There is always light at the end of the tunnel.
Thank you once again.

Adamawa Baseline Report
By Simon Achi | Data and Research Manager
The Adamawa baseline activity has been completed and the commplete analysis and report has been attached here. The team is planning a dissemination webinar to equip the public and stakeholders within the education sector with information that is needed to build a strong and effective education system within Adamawa State and Northern Nigeria at large.
From the findings of the analyzed response from the baseline survey; most of the school students are comfortable with their teachers’ style and mode of teaching; also, most of the students do not consult guidance and counseling staff before they chose a career; furthermore, a good number of students do not participate in a community project and most of them do not know how to use a computer. Thus, the study recommends that teachers should continue their teaching style, and if there is a chance for improvement, they should improve their teaching style this could be done by studying what other schools are doing that is good, and attending training and workshops. Also, students need to be guided in school by the guidance and staff to help them choose a good career that suits their passion and academic strength.
Lastly, students should be taught how to become better citizens through participation in a community project, they should be taught how to use computers. Hence, computer rooms and computers should be provided for all the schools so as to help students know how to use computer.
