Emergency Appeal for Rain & flood affected in Pak

In Pakistan every year monsoon rains case of heavy flood and effected many people and crops. This year again heavy rains/flood water created havoc for the rural communities, as heavy rains/flood water during the monsoon season 2018 is the major cause for this disaster. Houses of Families had been demolished and thousands of under-crop area had also been affected by the deluge. Further, the floods also led to the destruction of infrastructures such as roads and electricity etc.

50 % of the village had been badly affected by the heavy rains/flooded water due to heavy rains/flood water during the current monsoon season. The level of the heavy rain/floodwater is 3 - 4 feet even more in some of the area. According to survey conducted by Joy Foundation and local development committees, different fodder crops and vegetables had also been totally damaged by the deluge. Further more people have suffered from several diseases cholera, malaria, stomach diseases and pneumonia etc


This emergency relief will help them for one month and in the meantime water will go down and people will able to return their houses and see how they can survive after that.

Long-Term Impact

This emergency relief will help the people at the time when they loss everything in the flood and they are not able to work and do anything so they need support. This support will help them to survive in hard time of their life.
