The 16 members of the 2012 Eastern Regional Network Class graduated into our Senior Fellows community during their 3rd retreat which took place October 18 - 21.
The curriculum for this year's third retreat was updated to include building collaborative networks, our first ever happiness training and a new strength based leadership component.
"ELP has re-defined the meaning of collaborative learning for me and provided me with a true community of diversity that I can relate with, work with and learn from." Robert Yang 2012 Eastern Regional Fellow
In addition to our training program, 3 Fellows used their expertise to teach the class about energy audits by conducting one on site and providing a list of recommendations to facility manager.
As ELP's Senior Fellowship Program continues to grow, Fellows are empowered to chart their own course for collaborative success. Our new strategic process for Senior Fellows allows each class to create their own visions for the program as well as develop projects that can be launched within the next 2 quarters.
During this strategic process, the class was divided into 3 teams. In addition to traditional methods of flip charting ideas, each team had chose an electronic scribe to update a class shared Google Doc in real time. Within an 30 minutes, the Google Doc came alive with a flowing of ideas that translated into 50 new vision statements and 20 new projects!
