This girls education project is providing free of cost second chance of education to 900 dropped out primary passed vulnerable girls who had left school after completion 5th grade on account of access, poverty,social and cultural issues and early child marriages by establishing 32 non formal education centers at door step level.The project is of two years and one year is complete and need financial assassinate for year two to assist the enrolled girls in completing elementary education.
Due to cultural and socio-economic reasons 51% of women in Pakistan have ever attended any school in their life time, while this ratio is reduced further in rural areas and this number is even lower at 40%. Under this project 900 primary passed drop out girls who had left school after completing the primary education on account of the absence of elementary schools, poverty, social taboos, and other related issues will be provided second chance of education by establishing 25 non formal Schools.
Project will educate 900 primary passed girls of 10-19 years of age belonging to excluded groups by continuing 25 non formal elementary schools at their door steps. The project will assist the girls not only in completing elementary education but also protect them from early child marriages as in current enrolled girls 7% are already married(age 10-19).These 900 girls will be the change agents in promoting girls education in the area but also literate mothers in future.
The project will education 900 young girls and will save them from becoming early brides, empower them to advocates for girls education, become educated mothers ultimately lead towards educated society.
