One of the advantages of living at Cedar Village is there is always something happening here. Our dedicated Resident Life team is comprised of certified specialists, including a music therapist and art therapist. They spend each and every day planning a wide range of activities, running from the morning until night. Through the generosity of donors, Cedar Village is able to offer our residents high quality programs, special events, and activities Cedar Village.

Next week Cedar Village residents are stepping into the limelight–some making their theatrical debuts–in the all original musical by Cedar Village music therapist Jude Jones: Give Me Five. The musical is about a $5 bill that keeps getting lost and found. When found, it multiplies in worth through the good deeds it is put towards.  Over 70 Cedar Village residents are involved in the production, through acting, set design, and much more.

Performances will be at Cedar Village on Tuesday, September 27, at 6:45 p.m. and Thursday, September 29, at 2:00 p.m.

Your support helps us continue to create and implement engaging and creatie programming for our residents.

The bell choir at Cedar Village is truly made for our residents who have dementia, but can still make beautiful music with our talented and experienced music therapist. The bell choir has weekly sessions with performances three to four times a year. Our residents who participate in the bell choir become immersed in the sound of the bells and the music, and so do the family, friends, staff members, and residents in the audience. Your donation will help continue to enrich their lives by providing funds for new bells, shirts for bell choir members, and so much more.

Cedar Village keeps its residents' lives active and engaged, offering programming of all sorts to stimulate, entertain and connect to make aging an enriching and fulfilling experience.

At Cedar Village, we enrich lives of our residents every day. Our residents enjoy participating in the Cedar Village Bell Choir and recently, they put on a wonderful concert. It is always so inspiring to hear the sounds of the bells being rung by residents, many of whom have dementia, but can make beautiful music when our music therapist points to them. They perform three to four times a year for their family, friends and fellow residents. Their next concert will be a holiday concert in December with the Cedar Village choir. Your donation will help enrich their lives by providing funds for more bells as the bell choir grows.
