Eid al-Adha involves the slaughter of an animal and the sharing of the meat in three equal parts - for family, relatives, friends and the poor. The goal is to ensure that every Muslim eats meat. This year, the number of people who need assistance has increased significantly due to the high prices and the lack of Palestinian income. The projects target all vulnerable groups in Palestine, given that successive crises have had a significant impact on the lives of all people living in Palestin camps
Due to the high prices in Palestine and the wage problems of the Palestinian Authority, this has led to major problems at the level of the Palestinian community and family, especially for families with low and daily incomes and the families of people with disabilities, the matter has become more difficult for them. The price of red meat rose fold, with some cuts costing more than the minimum monthly wage.
This year, Noor will implement the Qurbani project by distributing meat portions to the most vulnerable families. Each portion of meat is about 2 kg. Moreover, we will bring joy to the hearts of children by providing them with clothes and toys. Eid cakes or maamoul will also be provided as Eid gifts for vulnerable families. Through this project, we aim to show the solidarity and solidarity of people with disabilities and poor families on Eid al-Adha.
This initiative will feed a huge number of families living in the Palestinian refugee camps in Palestine in the city of Bethlehem (Aida and Al-Azza camps). The idea behind our project is that donating and supplying the needy with meat and gifts goes beyond nutrition, it represents safety, hope, dignity and solidarity. You can be a part of positive change by getting involved and raising awareness about this topic. It is very important to remind those in need and the world that we are together.
