Marian Hope Empowerment Initiative since inception has been giving educational sponsorship to orphans and vulnerable children from different parts of the country. Our organization defines orphans and vulnerable children as people within the age of 0-17 years old that are of schooling age who may have lost either both parents or a parent. These children are sponsored at government owned schools to cut cost and as part of our monitoring and evaluation strategy, a copy of their termly reports is sent to the organization.
We have over 50 OVC in different government schools in Jos-Platuea, Zaria and the FCT. We are working towards sponsoring an additional 500 OVC in Shendam and its environs to primary and secondary schools in the next academic session.
Already, we have a list of children who are awaiting sponsorship. Contacts are been made with various Government schools to ensure that by the next academic session, a space will be
available for them..
We want to say a big thank u to all who gave to this cause. Thanks for giving a child a hope and a future.
