Education Lab for Child Sex Trafficking Survivors

by Compassion First
Vetted

Summary

An education lab provides the girls in our care with the tools and resources they need to pursue their education. The realities of their former trafficking circumstances means each girl usually needs assistance to catch up on her schooling, but each girl needs the tools to study and learn wherever she's at in her education.

Challenge

As part of our program, the girls in our care receive education and tutoring based on their individual needs and circumstances. Currently, we do not have the resources to empower both the girls and the education staff with the tools they need to succeed.

Solution

By equipping the girls in our care and educators with the teaching resources, we empower them to pursue the highest quality education and complete their education goals.

Long-Term Impact

By accessing high quality education tools, the girls in our care will be able to reach their education goals in their projected timelines. They will also be equipped to enter higher education institutions with necessary certificates and program completion requirement met. But beyond their schooling, they will also develop computer skills that they will be able to carry with them into their careers.
