This project will help victims of war in Sudan. The problems faced are that there are 3 million children out of schools, public expenditure on services decreased so much recently. To Leave no one behind, our organization Asmaa will try to help in filling this gap by helping illiterate women and girls, children drop outs, and youth to find education and life skills as literacy, bridge schools and vocational training. Education will be accompanied by improving understanding of peace and democracy
There are more than 9 million illiterate in Sudan, of which 3 million child are out of school and 6 million illiterate adults. This project will try to participate in filling this gap.
The project will address needs of children and adults who lost their chances in education due to war, displacement and poverty. Special condensed curriculum is prepared to make children reach their peers in formal schools. Literacy classes will offer education for women , vocational training will help youth to find jobs.
This project will erase illiteracy of 250 women, they will read and write learn arithmetic, this will help them in following education of their children, help them in their life and work. Bridge schools will help 300 dropouts to continue learning in formal schools or help them to have knowledge to pursue life with open minds. Also bridge schools can benefit 50 early married girls who lost their chance in education due to marriage to pursue education. The project will offer 20 vocational training
